Minnesota Mandatory Posting Updates

  • 12/2023 - Minimum Wage - The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry has updated their Minimum Wage notice. The updated notice reflects an adjustment of the state minimum wage to $10.85/hour for any enterprise with annual gross revenues of $500,000 or more and $8.85/hour for any enterprise with annual gross revenues of less than $500,000. Additionally, the training wage rate and youth wage rate will be adjusted to $8.85/hour. The effective date for the new minimum wage rates is January 1, 2024.
  • 12/2023 - Veteran Benefits - The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry has released their Veterans Benefits notice. A new law requires employers with more than 50 full-time employees to post a notice in the workplace containing information on the various benefits and services available to veterans.
  • 12/2023 - Captive Audience - The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry has released their Captive Audience notice. The new law reflects a legal requirement mandating employers to display a notice in the workplace concerning discrimination related to opting out of employer-sponsored meetings on religious or political subjects. A recent regulation prevents employers from penalizing an employee who chooses not to participate in employer-sponsored meetings concerning religious or political matters.

  • 07/2022 - Age Discrimination - The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry has updated their Age Discrimination notice. The updated notice reflects a new phone number for the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.
